Lily Baulderstone
(9-5, Mamma Mia)
I began working with Erin Clare when I understudied her in 9 to 5: The Musical, seeking support to navigate the demands of that repertoire. Beyond vocal technique, Erin has been instrumental in developing my performance skills, confidence and the mental resilience required in this industry. Despite her busy schedule as an in-demand performer, she has been consistent in supporting my preparation for auditions across mainstage musicals, independent theatre and commercial work. Her rare combination of musical theatre, classical training and pop/rock - along with her ability to accompany makes her an exceptional and versatile teacher.

(Rocky Horror, Grease)
Erin is genuinely invested in her students as both singers and humans. She’s personally taken my voice to places no other teacher has and she has an incredible depth of knowledge and an intuitive understanding of how the voice works technically and artistically. With Erin as your teacher you’re not just doing exercises- you’re building an authentic voice, confidence, and trust in your instrument. She truly is the whole package.
I have sought Erin's teaching prowess across the years when pop MT shows are coming to town and I need her to take me from Broadway to Backstreet Boys. Yet at the same time, with the click of a finger, she has also helped me with classical and legit sounds,. The way she demonstrates and understands the ins and outs of sound creation is utterly astounding. Her singing instrument is matched by her intellect, empathy and knowledge of music, trends, style, industry, era and culture. As a song writer and intellect, she pays attention to and understands music in a way that aids lessons and the necessary adaptations required for impending auditions. Erin's constant dedication to her job means that you will always get the best from her. She is extremely understanding of humans and how we operate, is switched on to the business side of the industry but at the same time makes lessons feel like home.
